John specializes in the fields of medical malpractice and personal injury. John has successfully handled numerous, complex medical malpractice, fire explosion, and wrongful death and survival action cases, resulting in multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for our clients. In fact, John has obtained a 5.2 million dollar verdict in Prince George’s County, Maryland, for a client who sustained a ureteral injury during a hysterectomy. This verdict was one of the largest verdicts ever in Southern Maryland and was one of the largest ureteral injury verdicts obtained in the history of the United States. John also recently obtained a 3.5 million dollar verdict for our client who sustained a bowel injury during a hysterectomy due to the medical negligence of a physician. The verdict was the largest verdict ever obtained in Calvert County history. John also handles an abundance of personal injury claims stemming from truck, motorcycle and automobile accidents, as well as claims stemming from injuries sustained in fires and fire explosions. Prior to joining our firm, John clerked for the Honorable Richard H. Sothoron of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland. John litigates cases in the State and Federal Courts of Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia. He also handles medical malpractice claims throughout the country.
