Mahasin represents clients in matters relating to divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, estate planning, criminal law and traffic law. After graduating from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2009, she clerked for the Honorable Beverly J. Woodard of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County. She practiced solely domestic law with the Maryland legal Aid Bureau from 2010 until2014 before joining the firm.

Mahasin is a Past President of the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association, Inc., and an active member of the Prince George's County Bar Association, Calvert County Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association. She is a life-long resident of Prince George's County and a graduate of Suitland High School. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2003. Mahasin was named as one of Prince George's County's 40 Under 40 in 2014.
